The anatomically shaped pocket ensures a secure hold. The waistband is 3 inches (7.5cm) and the straps are 1 inch (2.5cm) wide
The bag is made of spandex for extra support. So the bag is stretchable, but only for the space that is needed. It is also avoided that the shape of the bag changes. Which is unfortunately the case with many jocks.
